Light, bright rooms with airy decor to inspire your next adventure in redecorating.

We love light, bright rooms that capture ever glimmer of special sunshine. These inviting spaces can be found across our favorite real estate listings like this jaw-dropping Hunter Mountain ski chalet, the most impressive yurt houses and classic Hudson River mansions.

Before you go renovating your next room, check out these gorgeous sun-filled rooms for inspiration, starting with these white and wood living rooms with loads of exposed wood and higher-than-heaven ceilings.

All the windows are framed with natural materials and the sofas are kept light, airy and ready for snuggling.

That trend continues in a more coastal form below. Rattan tables, creamy rust tones and bits of wicker are thrown into the white-and-beige mix.

Technically, they’re brass—and they make for a brilliant take on modern nautical style. We’re absolutely obsessed with the chevron-neutral tile across the backsplash. It’s kitchen jewelry!

There’s more kitchen love to bookmark here, too. This time it’s slightly more industrial. This city loft kitchen is light, bright and airy with exposed brick and sage green cabinets.

White appliances with golden knobs add modern flair. We love the contrasting kitchen island in dark wood with a white marble top. A perfect place to whip up chocolate chai martini recipes, for sure.

And this MCM-meets-1920s living room? *chef’s kiss*

The rusty sofa, vintage oversized light fixture and framed artwork are totally doing it for us.

If you prefer softer tones, this attic-turned-walk-in-closet is certainly something to covet. It was finished with soft, seafoam green closets and cabinets and a gorgeous window seat to look out onto the nearby bay.

It’s flooded with natural light, making it a perfect place to get dressed and apply makeup. It matches our favorite small makeup bags perfectly.

If eclectic is more your thing, look at this floral masterpiece that screams out for Grandma’s approval. It’s the very epitome of Coastal Grandma style, only when she’s gone home from the coast for the winter.

Believe it or not, we spotted some of the best gifts under $30 in this room.

You know we had to add a real-deal sunroom here, too. This one is very 1990s, but we absolutely love the way it’s framed out and offers endless light from every angle.

It must be a real treat to have morning coffee in here, and it’s obviously an ideal place to fill with light-loving houseplants.

We’re back to navy with this modern kitchen featuring contrasting cabinets and countertops and loads of overhead lighting. An open concept connects with a toile-themed living room with a matching cooking space.

This wood-and-white vintage dining space is what holiday dreams are made of. Ours, anyway. We’re losing our minds over all the priceless heirloom lighting and furniture pieces.

Just look at the burls on that wood table! The crystal chandelier from Great Granny’s time! The bar cabinet!

It’s all divine and dripping in sophisticated design.

This light, sunny powder room is throwing you a bouquet. From the wallpaper, of course.

And there’s more bathroom action. These original windows are over 100 years old and let so much natural light pour through that it’s impossible to have a bad makeup day.

Check out all the detailing. We’re loving the window shutters, plants and even the hand-me-down chairs.

One more dining room—because you deserve it. Gorgeous terra cotta flooring, textured wallpaper and subtle artwork, right?
