LOCO for COCOnut

My list of coveted coconut beauty prods to keep you coco-loco from head to toe.

Coconut anything makes me happy as a clam drunk off of pina coladas. So when it comes to coconut beauty supplies, I’d never say no.  Check it: my list of coveted coconut beauty prods to keep you coco-loco from head to toe.

TOCCA Candela in Kona for Blue Mercury: While engaging in coco-beauty, I like to set the standard of keeping my beautification area scented of coconuts at all times. No home fragrance has never embodied coconut with such grace, purity & legit sultry sex appeal more than TOCCA’s Kona.  [BlueMercury.com $36]

Organix Collection Coconut Milk haircare line: Due to my newly straightened & dyed ‘do, I’ve become extremely particular in what shampoo/conditioner sets & styling products touch my strands. Coming to find out that an old fav, Organix, is hydrating, organic, packaged in eco-friendly bottles covered with recycled labels made me remember why I’ve always loved it.  To then find out that their formulations are sulfate-free, helping me to keep my new hair looking good as new?  Extreme happy dances were in order. [Target, Walgreens, CVS & Walmart locations, prices vary]

philosophy coconut macaroon body butter: Compliment philosophy’s coconut macaroon body butter with its partners in crime: pink frosted cookie lip shine & brown butter cookie shower gel in philosophy’s Holiday Greetings set. Moisturizing your post-shower bod with a coconut lotion is bound to get you a couple of welcomed sniffs on the subway, or whiffs from unsuspecting gentlemen who will either think you just baked cookies delish enough for them to eat, or they’ll just think YOU’re the delish one. All I’m sayin’ is… I’ve never had any complaints.   [Sephora.com $22]

And to satisfy my sweet-tooth from these coco-loco beauty bites, Vegan Coconut Flan, anyone? Seriously delish, and devoid of tons of fattening cals that could deter you from your coco-fetish. MUST try with a ZICO coconut water.    Recipe via: DrWeil.com
