Mansion Spotting: A Sustainable House On A rock In Narragansett Bay

Written by Elizabeth Mitchell

We definitely wouldn’t mind spending some time at this island mansion!

A sustainable house on a rock in Narragansett Bay

Holy moly! Sooo this 103-year-old mansion, otherwise known as Clingstone House, is pretty much our dream vacation home. Perched on top of a rock in Rhode Island’s Narragansett Bay, the green, sustainable mansion is 10,000 square feet and has an astonishing 10 bedrooms. We have no idea how you would actually live there for more than a short period of time (unless you can catch and cook your own fishies consistently), but a week long jaunt sounds quite heavenly, doesn’t it? Check out these pictures below, and tell us if you wouldn’t want to veg out there for a romantic vacay.
