Maple Chocolate Chip Cookies = everything your mouth needs
This year when Thanksgiving rolls around and it’s time to contemplate everything you’re thankful for, chocolate chip cookies are going to be on my list (along with my health, my family, my friends, and Alexander Wang’s Fall 2012 collection). Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg yolk, at room temperature
1 large egg, at room temperature
1 Tablespoon maple extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
