There’s no denying that technology has changed relationships, from the way we meet potential dates to the way we leave our current spouses for hometown exes that we find on Facebook, only to realize they are still sleep-rapists. Nowadays it seems like almost every facet of our relationships has been digitized in some way, even including something as personal as marriage proposals.
A Missouri man decided to capitalize off his girlfriend’s obsession with the game Dots, and convinced the programmers to add a special feature to the end of the game and propose to his lady friend.
It makes sense if you think about it, since if you are in a long term relationship chances are you spend most of your quality time with your partner playing Candy Crush, but it still feels a little impersonal to me. At the end of the day if you are going to propose to me, I feel that you need to get down on one knee as per tradition, because chances are you are going to spend most of the marriage down there, anyway.
