Met Gala 2015: Allison Williams Makeup

Written by Bryce

We loved the Allison Williams makeup look from the 2015 Met Gala… here’s how to get the look at home:

“Allison Williams’ vibrant red Giambattista Valli gown called for a simple, elegant makeup look.  We incorporated the 2015 theme of Chinese art and beauty with thick black eyeliner and a pink, doll-like blush,” said celeb makeup artist Gianpaolo Ceciliato of the smashing look.

SKIN PREP:

I  began with a gentle massage to relax the face and neck using Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum. Then, I applied Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Eye Serum to depuff and brighten the eye area.

COMPLEXION:

To create Allison’s subtle contour and dimension I applied  two shades of foundation.  First, Flawless Finish Perfectly Nude Makeup Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 15 in Warm Sunbeige to her whole face, working outwards. Then, Flawless Finish Perfectly Nude Makeup Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 15 in Buff to the hollow of her cheekbones, down the sides of the nose, underneath her chin, in the depth of the temples, and along  the hairline.T o create the porcelain, doll-like look, I added Beautiful Color Radiance Blush in Sunburst to the highest point of the cheekbones, just beneath the eyes.

Finally, I dusted loose powder to set the foundation and finished with a dab of Beautiful Color Eye Shadow in Glisten to the eyelids and cheekbones.
