1. Ley .925 Tequila Pasion Azteca Ultra Premium Anejo. At $3.5 million per bottle, it’s the bottle accounting for the vast majority of the price. The most expensive tequila in the world is available in two varieties: $225,000 for a white gold and pure platinum bottle version, or the Diamond Sterling bottle for $3.5 million. It’s the literal polar opposite of the best cheap alcohol. Because diamonds = the most expensive liquor bottles, right?

2. elit by Stolichnaya. Stoli’s line of ultra-luxury vodka, has just released its newest limited-edition bottled. The limited-edition series is called pristine water series, which uses the world’s most pristine, artesian water sources to produce an exceptionally smooth vodka. The newest edition—pristine water series: Andean edition–is the third and final release in the pristine water series and made with carefully-sourced water from Lake Colico is the Andes Mountain. Each bottle is $3,000 and only 250 bottles were produced.

3. Champagne isn’t a liquor, but this bottle is still pretty wild. Moet & Chandon’s leopard print methuselah enrobed in real gold makes it the most expensive champagne you’ll love to display. At $5,000 per bottle, it counts as champagne jewelry.

4. Legacy by Angostura. At $25,000 this is rum is certainly one you won’t be ruining with coke. It sells for $6,000 a shot at London’s Playboy Club, and was made in Trinidad by Angostura. With only 20 bottles produced in 2013 for global distribution, several bottles sold quickly. Chosen from Angostura’s smoothest blends among 80,000 barrels, this rum was made for sipping —  the bottle was designed by esteemed British jeweller, Asprey, and is adorned with sterling silver, and a handmade wooden box lined with velvet and silk.

5. How about a $3,000 bottle of bourbon? Michter’s Celebration Sour Mash Whiskey retails for about $3,200 and promises a category-defining moment for ultra-premium American whiskey. It consists of Kentucky Straight Bourbon and Kentucky Straight Rye taken from Michter’s best barrels: some aged over 30 years, some aged over 20 years, and some other truly exceptional barrels – all hand-selected by Master Distiller Willie Pratt.
