Rihanna’s single Diamonds is a little more melodious than her usual songs. The repititon of lyrics reminds us of almost a little Lana del Rey-y song. Not exactly your go to dance song, it is beautiful and mellow non the less. Rihanna’s new song from her upcoming seventh album is just pure simplicity. Nothing like we have heard from her before. And, despite the fact that the accompanying photo seems to suggest that “Diamonds” will be about RiRi rolling a joint full of actual diamonds the track is actually very romantic and calm.
