I’m taking the #AveenoDailyChallenge for 3 weeks to a better version of myself– skin, zen, and well-being.
When I heard the folks at Aveeno were challenging busy women (you know, like you and me) to get busy improving our skin AND lives simultaneously, I was excited to hop on board. The concept was really simple: make one or two simple changes in your life, every day for 3 weeks and watch the goodness unfold.

I committed to creating 30 minutes of zen in my life each day — a real challenge with 3 young children — and I’ve loved every single day of the past week. I’ve been alternating between yoga, long walks alone, and the occasional “special treat.” Today’s treat was a little time at the spa, and I’ve already planned a mani/pedi “treat” for the end of the week (literally counting down the seconds). I also committed to using Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion each morning after my shower, and after just a few days I already feel like my skin is WAY smoother.
There’s something to be said for keeping it simple- adding some daily stress relief and a natural moisturizing element (love you forevs, oatmeal!) have already taken my days from generally good to I’m-still-smiling-by-10PM-each-night.
