My New Hair Rx

Written by Alyssa

Since I change my haircolor with the seasons, you can only imagine how fried and delicate it is. The ends of my hair look like someone has been knawing on them, and my color has faded from a rich mahogany to a nasty shade of orange. Then, to the rescue…Amazon Beauty Rahua Shampoo & Conditioner!

Not only is this product 100% organic, my hair has never felt softer and more healthy. This shampoo contains Rahua elixir, which instantly repairs delicate hair AND speeds hair growth. Made with rain forest grown ingredients, this collection pays tribute to the beautiful women of the Amazon Rainforest.

Rahua Conditioner, $34

This conditioner is just as perfect as the shampoo, and paired together, a match made in heaven! I am weary about most conditioners because my hair is SO thick, but not only did this leave my hair tangle-free, it kept it soft for hours after use. Perfect for anyone who is extremely delicate hair due to color treatments!

Find both of these products, as well as many other awesome ones at Cocoon Hair Studio, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan or at Amazon Beauty Secret.

For days when my hair is especially dry, thirsty and in need of some serious moisture, I use Tui Hair Smoothie by Carol’s Daughter. Consisting of nutrient rich oils, rich shea and cocoa butters, and a fabulous fragrance combination of guava, mango and passion fruit. I feel like I’m taking a mini-vacation everytime I use it. After leaving it on for 15 minutes, my hair not only smells amazing, it is insanely soft. I highly suggest getting your paws on some!
