Whenever you’re looking to update your nails with the latest trend, never forget to check your fave mass discount store (ahem, Walmart). Nail art isn’t necessarily about spending a ton on a bottle of polish- it’s about great colors, textures, and application. Hard Candy re-launched their nail polish line and it’s seriously amazing.
For the summer, Hard Candy re-released their nail polish line and split it into 5 collections: Candy Sprinkles, Crushed Chromes, Crystal Confetti, Glitteratzi and Itzy Glitzy.
Candy Sprinkles: the sprinkles line consists of jelly-based nail polishes that appear speckled when applied. The base colors of these polishes are bright or pastel, and they’re infused with colored glitter that doesn’t dry textured (comparable to the Illamasqua Speckled Polishes)
Crushed Chromes: the polishes that make up the chrome line are all duo-chrome colors that have a metallic sheen to them. The colors range from a girly pink shade to a fierce lava mixture.
Glitteratzi: this line is probably my favorite, probably because all of the colors are opaque glitters. I would totally rock thick glitter on all of my nails, but it would also be fun to use these as topcoats or as accent nails.
Crystal Confetti: these colors are great because they’re similar to the Candy Sprinkles, only the glitter is 10x more intense. Each bottle is a mosh pit of multi-shaped and multi-sized glitter that work great by themselves or work as a topcoat.
Itzy Glitzy: this lie is different from the Crushed Chromes line because instead of duo-chrome colors, these are opaque colors that are shimmer-infused. These colors reflect the light beautifully and are filled with sparkly shimmers.
Overall, I think these colors are amazing and they’re definitely worth going to your local drugstore and picking some up.
