Nail Trend of the Season: Purple Polish

Written by Bryce

This season’s hottest nail trend is simple: PURPLE. Whether it’s matte, ultra-shiny, shimmery, or anything else you simply cannot do without this gorgeous jewel tone for Fall 2010. We’ve seen it all over the runways, on our fave celebs, and frankly: we’re wearing purple on our fingers right now.  Here are some of our fave polishes (clockwise):

1. Scotch Naturals. Not only does this line completely take product design to a new level, they take what to expect out of cosmetics to a new level. Their more natural, less toxic approach will leave your fingers feeling good, looking good, and the bottles are cute enough to purposely leave out all over your vanity.

2. Sinful Colors. If you’re in a hurry and on a budget, swing by Walgreens for a bottle of Sinful Colors. For a couple bucks you’ll get a trendy color that’s cheap enough to change up every few days… and we love that, because fashion is fickle.

3. CND Matte Topcoat. It’s always good to have a bottle of this magical stuff around… you never know when you’re going to want to take your look from shiny to matte.  This one bottle will help take your shimmy Sinful Colors to a whole new level in a matter of seconds.

4. Sephora Polish. Sephora’s line of nailpolishes is always a perennial fave, but this season they really stepped up to the plate with deep purples, pinkish purples, blue-ish purples, black-ish purples, and all the purpley in-between shades that we simply can’t stop wearing.
