NYFW Events Were a Total #CoutureOverdose

Written by Bryce

It’s official: New York Fashion Week has left me with a total #coutureoverdose. I mean, the shows, the events, the parties… wait, let’s focus. The parties. If you didn’t already hear about it, Juicy Couture and SheKnows threw one hell of a party at Gold Bar to celebrate the newest fragrance in their line- Viva La Juicy Gold Couture (link to product on Juicy site).

Let me just tell you this: between the heels and gilded-everything, the entire party was a literal couture overdose. I mean that in a good way, because couture is like chocolate: there’s no such thing as too much. Champagne flowed, music pumped, glorious gelato was served, and a packed room full of model-types spritzed the new Viva La Juicy Gold Couture on themselves as if it was Evian in the desert.

Kudos to the Juicy Couture people on calling the trend, because all gold everything was the way to go at NYFW this time around. My prediction is that by this time next year we’ll all be decked out with gold embroidery on every sweater, sock, and pantleg. Fine by me, obvi.

Oh, and on the best note ever, I took my hubby along and ran into Julia DiNardio from FashionPulseDaily. Julia and I were basically kvelling over the opulent bottle, all-gold-everything theme, and the photo booth (complete with feather boas because why not?).

Peace, love, and gold dust.

This post was sponsored but this is real account of my NYFW experience, and yes, I really did eat that gelato.
