Olaf Brzeski

Written by Casey

Poland’s contemporary artist, Olaf Brzeski.

Olaf Brzeski is a Polish contemporary artist whose work spans in many different mediums. The black cloud sculpture called “Dream – Spontaneous Combustion” was inspired by Olaf trying to clean out a stuffed chimney in his apartment, and ending up with a house covered in soot. To me it looks like something out of a Harry Potter film, still pretty haunting and beautiful though. Brzeski’s work has been included in solo and group shows throughout Poland and in Prague, Copenhagen, Budapest, and Lille.
