Pore Cleansing Experiment Continues… more medicinally.

Written by Bryce

Since I set out on my never-ending quest for beautified, smaller pores about a month ago I’ve tried just about everything: scrubs, cleansers, masks, masking tape… you name it. I was excited to try Soap & Glory’s The Fab Pore Facial Peel. I mean, it just sounded official enough to get the down and dirty job done. When I applied it, I instantly felt like I had applied a special apothecary formula- it just sort of smelled like medicine (and not in the way that’s offensive, just the way that kind of instills confidence in the product’s ability to clear the crap out of my skin).

Although it claims to be a peel, it’s more of a mask and does a solid job of soaking up all the excess gross oil in nasty t-zone skin. When you rinse or wipe it off it casually sloughs off the top layer of dead skin, further preventing darkening, dirty buildup in pores… so that’s a plus too. Skin is left smooth, and a perfect canvas for a good oil-free moisturizer. I wouldn’t recommend this one if you have huge, dark pores to begin with- but if your pores are moderate and need regular maintenance, this one might just be the trick for you!
