Rub Me Down With Hot Chocolate…

Written by Bryce

It’s holiday time… time for indulgences like pies, cookies, and things made with too much butter.  OR!  You can have your small indulgences around bathtime with sweet scrubs, and lotions and potions galore.

I have two favorites, especially for this time of year.  And might I just say, they’re fab stocking stuffers (and if you give them to the man in your life, he might even share them with you).

Exhibit A: Hot Chocolate Sugar Srub… if you like the frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity, you’ll LOVE this to slather on your body.  At only $13.99, and made of ORGANIC components, it’s the perfect way to indulge without packing on the pounds!  Whenever I use it my skin is soft, polished, and mildly sweet smelling.  And it’s available nationwide from Target!

And, this easy twist-off jar is easy as pie to use in the shower or tub… It’s great for rough, wintry skin!

When I get out of one my long, easy baths, I usually reach for a rich moisturizer (especially after all that exfoliation).  Though lately I’ve been reaching for my Honeydew Belly Butter and Honeycat Cosmetics Body Butter, I give special attention to my feet!

Feet get all the stress of the day- we walk on them, stand on them, stuff them into uncomfortable shoes with unnatural lifts, and generally abuse them.  So why not give them a little extra TLC, while ensuring that they don’t stink up a storm, with Verikira Naturals Fresh Foot Cream, $26.

According to the lovely people at Verikira, “This incredible lotion is perfect for those with problem feet as it naturally helps with fungal issues.  Blended with Essential Oils of Patchouli, Tea Tree, Thyme, Basil, Geranium, and Cinnamon, this 82% organic content also includes vinegar to help with fungal and other issues.  Vinegar in many cases has killed fungus and is effective against spores.  Tea Tree is also known for its antibacterial nature.  Thus, by killing bacterial that causes bad odor or fungus, the odor is then eliminated.    Due to the vinegar and EO content, Fresh Feet Foot Crème does not smell like normal minty fresh foot creams.”
