I recognize that I’m hardly a scientist, but I feel like I’ve spent enough time at the OBGYN lately to get at least some level of honorary degree in science. That being said, I’ve decided to apply my new genius to the field of pregnancy cravings: specifically the combination of salty and sweet. My findings resulted in a massive breakthrough: Talenti Salted Caramel Gelato is really super good. And that’s just science. But, like all things super good, the potential for miracles exists. The combo of salted caramel gelato and fresh, home-baked brownies (who am I kidding? I bought them at Whole Foods) is basically the winning ticket to heaven.
In the event you’re feeling particularly scientific, and want to experiment at your own risk (please eat a salad first, otherwise dangerous levels of caloric consumption can and WILL occur), you can look up where to find Talenti. Any box of Duncan Hines will do just fine.
I love salted caramel gelato! Salty + Sweet = A woman’s best dessert dream (esp. if the hormones are going bonkers! a.k.a. PMS, Pregnancy, That time of the month when Aunt Flo comes to town, etc.)
p.s. Have you tried the Salted Caramel chocolate from Vosges???
