Rachel went from being “single” to “in a relationship.”

The boyfriend’s back, and I guess I’m in trouble because I have no idea how to wear this shockingly trendy denim style. Also, I had no idea that the ‘boyfriend’ was a style that was in need of revival anyway.

How will petite, curvy, 5’2 me wear baggy, destroyed denim, with slouchy back pockets and over-sized metal detailing?

Well, I suppose I better figure this flattery out since all my denim favs have been pushing this look for the spring.

While I’ll be snagging a pair of my boyfriend’s jeans for a test drive before I really decide if this new fad is wardrobe worthy (I have my eye on Current/Elliott’s divinely soft version) – here are a few cute ideas that might femme up the boyfriend for any body type:

– Slim fit oxfords, tucked in with girly details – think ribbon belts, heavy pearls, and headbands.

– Do the ultimate masculine revamp and pair a ribbed tank under a hip grazing, fitted blazer, add stilettos, clutch, and layered jewels.

– Channel ‘Funny Face’, but skip the skinnies. Add a sleek black turtle neck, beret, and prance-worthy flats.

Additionally, try Chickdowntown.com – the hip Pittsburgh based online retailer – for 55% off all full-priced merch in the store with code SAVE55 – to get a generous discount on a plethora of boyfriend fits, on top of free UPS ground shipping!
