Style Spotting: The Curling Iron of My Dreams

Written by emilyc

I think the Solano SmoothCurl 450 may have just changed my life? My experience with curling irons is limited mainly because my hair is naturally very curly and because the curling irons of my past would pull my hair, tear it out, and burn me and my apartment. So basically I was Rihanna and curling irons were Chris Brown.

Enter SmoothCurl 450. I have zero burns thanks to the “easy grip cool tip”, and my apartment didn’t even burn down thanks to the perfectly balanced non-slip stand that protects surfaces from burning. The smooth glide barrel yielded no pain and I did not have to sacrifice any of my hair. Ahhh it was such a lovely experience.

The best part is that I didn’t look like one of the contestants on Toddlers & Tiaras when I was finished. I didn’t even have to use any hairspray in order for the curls stay, and we all know what that means: no hairspray = no southern belle pageant hair.

Who needs natural curls when you can get such perfection with such ease? I’m converting to curling irons. Share in my magical encounter with this iron at solanopower.com

Observe the above before and after photos, and keep in mind my hair was flat ironed in the before!
