Super Cheap Unlimited Monthly Blowdries in NYC

Written by Bryce

Do you believe in miracles? Because an unlimited monthly blowdries subscription for $99 is now a thing in NYC.

Thousands of women in NYC flock to salons and blowdry bars for pooftastical blowouts each day– typically spending anywhere from $40 to $60 plus tax and tip for each one. If you’re figuring one blowdry per week, that’s conservatively $210 a month just for basic hair maintenance (forget cuts, color, etc). Over $2400 a year just isn’t practical for most normal humans, and it leads me to wonder if hair is the REAL reason so many people in NYC have roommates. But I digress. Look at this email I just got:

“BEAUTYPASS – “Classpass of Beauty Booking” – offers is Unlimited Blowouts for $99 a month throughout Manhattan.  Now you can get as many blowouts as you want, as many times as you like, in every area of Manhattan.   But that is just the beginning.  Next up, BeautyPass will launch Unlimited Manicures, Spa Services and Spray Tans priced between $49 and $99.”

I read this email, peed on myself a little, and then did what any good investigative journalist would do– asked for details with haste. So here’s what you need to know:

1. You buy a membership for $99 a month.

2. Taxes are included in the membership.

3. You should still tip your blowist and hair wash folks as you normally would if you paid for the services as a regular walk-in.

4. You book easily, and almost instantly on the BeautyPass website.

5. You take all the money you saved and buy yourself a vacation. You deserve it.
