The Art of the Comeback ♥ Wizard of Homes

I just lost my partner on Monday to the big R.

I met Kadi, my favorite GURU girl ever, late last Spring. For a few years now, she’d been the Queen of beverage street marketing in New York. Together with our fabulous team, we turned on thousands and thousands of New Yorkers to GURU, The Luxury Spot’s favorite 100% natural energy drink.

Kadi helped me set up HQ in Nolita and has been waking me up most mornings with cafe con leche from Café Habana. I initiated her to vegan food, and she made sure we had beer in the fridge. Thanks to her, I found out what Ãœleslaadimised mobiilist means… (for that, you will need to find her on Facebook)

My gorgeous tweety bird took no more than a few hugs and tears to fly free from the nest, an inspiring example for us all recessionistas.

On Tuesday morning, she posted a classified ad on MySpace.

Wonder Women don’t sit on their asses. Kadi decided to launch her own startup, and I am her first client.

The premise is simple and as sweet as her face:
