With Fashion Month behind us, editors, bloggers, designers, and photographers are breathing a bittersweet sigh of relief. Fashion Month’s intrinsically hectic nature was only heightened by gross weather – it was storms on storms on storms for the style world. What we learned is that nothing comes between the masters of street style and their shoes (the only rain boots in sight were cheerful neon during Nemo in NYC). The top shoe designers spotted on the streets were Valentino, Balenciaga, Nicholas Kirkwood, and Céline (pictured below). I didn’t know people actually wore those fuzzy heels. This woman is teetering on the cutting edge, about to fall into looking clown-esque.

This is what I imagine would happen if primitive artists created paintings after spending a lot of time in the elevator area at Le Bain.
