As part of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, gay-themed traffic lights were installed in Vienna. The lights feature same sex couple holding hands to signal when it is safe to cross the street. They were originally installed as part of the contest, but have become so popular that the city has decided to keep them.

The lights received an overwhelmingly positive reaction with a petition of over 20,000 people to keep them around. Now, other countries like Germany are jumping on the homo bandwagon and revealing plans to install their own gay-themed lights.
