Since we are currently experiencing a heat wave, I have zero desire to wear my long hair down. Normally I’d opt for the messy bun look, but let’s face it – hair that resembles a makeshift bird’s nest is not always too attractive.. so what to do? The good old fashion pony tail is the perfect solution when it comes to dealing with hot, sticky weather. Before you scrunch your nose and shake your head (you don’t have to sport a scrunchie with the pony, unless you really want to) read on – there are a variety of pony tails that are fun, flirty, and stylish! We’ll begin with my favorite, the 80’s pony. Not only do I think this is a playful version of the classic pony tail, but it sure is a chic way to keep my hair off my neck when I begin to melt. Safe to say I’ve said bye bye to my buns!
