When it comes to health and the title of “super food,” green tea gets all the attention. It’s time to let all the others have the spotlight for a while because they all have something great to offer, from being an excellent friend to your skin, to preventing disease. Time to  give black, herbal, and white teas some love!

Black tea: Earl Grey and English Breakfast contain flavonoids, which are an anti-aging and disease-preventing antioxidants. Drinking black tea has also been shown to reduce blood pressure.

Herbal tea: These teas are fab for those who like to steer clear of caffeine. Hibiscus tea helps lower blood pressure, but studies reveal that chamomile tea may not have the calming effects that have made it famous among tea-drinkers.

White tea: White tea leaves contain the highest amount of antioxidants. A cup a day keeps the cancer away and keeps the skin rejuvenated.

To reap the highest benefit from your tea, opt for a French press or strainer instead of a traditional tea bag.
