The Infinity Bridge in Stockton-on-Tees, UK

Did you ever wonder what it would be like to experience an acid trip while you walk over a body of water? Welcome to the Infinity Bridge.

Infinity Bridge, UK

Located in Stockton-on-Tees (those crazy Brits with their funky names, #AmIRight?) the Infinity Bridge is a pedestrian-only work of art that got its name because it is suspended from two asymmetrical bowstring arches that reflect an infinity symbol in the water below it. As if that weren’t trippy enough, the bridge has a lighting scheme designed by Speirs and Major, creates a sensory experience akin to that of a rave. As you walk over the bridge, the light on the deck moves with you and shifts from blue to white.

If I ever find myself in Stockton-on-Tees, after I spend a significant amount of time discovering who named the city, I will definitely stop by the Infinity Bridge for a few flashbacks of the acid that I have never done.
