The Musical Roads of Japan

Musical roads of Japan

I think we can all agree that road safety is super important. Even though I used to text, drink, and change my entire outfit, all while driving a stick-shift to work I was lucky. If you really think about it, driving a car every day is like riding a loaded gun at 70 miles per hour, alongside hundred of other people that could accidentally murder you at any moment. That is why event though the idea of a musical road is preposterous, I fully support it.

Musical roads of Japan

Musical roads can be found in the United States, South Korea, and Denmark, although Japan is the most well-known for it. The idea is that if you go the speed limit, the road creates a musical humming noise to such tunes as Mary had a Little Lamb, the William Tell Overture, or Toxic, by Britney Spears. I am kidding about that last one, but you get the point. The music is supposed to keep you awake and alert, although I think Mary had a Little Lamb is more likely to throw me into a narcoleptic coma.

Regardless, road safety is no joke, so if a musical road is going to keep your bitch ass alive and well, I am all for it.
