The Weather Outside is Frightful but My Hair will be Beautiful

Oh the weather outside is frightful… You know how the Christmas song goes… I just spent all day in the dance studio rehearsing for Turning Heads, Frocks in Flight and headed home in the pouring rain. What better way than to spend the rest of the day holed up at home catching up on my at-home beauty treatments.

I’ve recently gone to get my haircut and dyed the ends to a vibrant color of fire engine red at Projet F and have been taking extra precautions to make sure that my hair ends do not develop split ends or lose its color by adding extra conditioner. I’ve always made sure I take good care of my hair by not exposing it to harmful environments and using minimal product to maintain healthy, shiny hair.  I spritz Shining Starbloom hair conditioner & detangler by Molton Brown, use a tourmaline infused curling iron by T3, swap my shampoo once a week for Leonor Greyl’s Concentre Energetique deep revitalizing hair treatment cleansing mask to stimulate my scalp as well as Leonor Greyl’s Regenerescence Naturelle scalp vitalizing essential oils before the hair treatment. I was happy to find that Leonor Greyl’s hair products are paraben-free. The last thing I need is a product that will cause more harm on my scalp.

The lowdown: The oils smelled amazingly soothing. After directly adding the dropper onto my scalp, I put some of the oils onto the palms of my hands and rubbed it into the dyed portions of my hair to add extra moisture. The mask has a gooey texture that doesn’t spread so easily, I had to put quite a bit onto my scalp. The mask didn’t smell like flowers b/c they don’t add any fragrance. Surprisingly, it was not an unpleasant.

The result: My hair is super soft and smells great.
