These Mind Blowing Beach Paintings Were Made With a Rake!

Written by Gary

If you live in San Francisco, then you are one lucky bitch, because you might randomly stumble across one of the gorgeous beach relief-sculptures of artist Andres Amador.

Andres Amador

Using nothing but a guide rope, a rake and the benefit of low tide, Amador carves beautiful designs into the sand that can reach upwards of 100,000 sq ft, using both wet and dry sand to achieve different colors and patterns. Even though the designs are obviously temporary, the artist says the artwork is more about the process than the result, which is the way I feel when I masturbate, so I totally get it.
Amador also uses the artwork to help people propose, which is pretty amazing also. If you love his stuff, feel free to visit his site and buy some prints. If you ever actually see him doing this thing, you better Instragram it with a quickness, before the ocean comes and erases it forever.
