Why go to the hotel when the hotel can come to you? Can you imagine that one day someone might ask you where you are going on vacation, and you can just say “The Pacific Ocean”. Cruise ships are basically like floating hotels, but with cramped quarters and a boatload of old people (literally). This floating hotel would have more luxurious, spacious rooms, and focus not so much on traveling, but on enjoying the fact that you are suspended completely on top of water.
Throw in some glass bottom floors and I am sold.
