In four years of renovations, this 19th century neoclassic mansion has had as much work done as Joan River’s face, and is finally open again for the public to enjoy. From the façade, which was damaged during WWI, to the updated interiors, this historic landmark has been worked on by the world’s greatest preservation specialists and renowned artists, including Mathieu Lehanneur, Pablo Reinoso, Frekrikson Stallard, and the Campana Brothers. The Hotel du Marc offers visitors eye candy around every corner, or as others have described, “poetic visual experiences that carefully articulate the spirit of Veuve Clicquot through various elements.” Such examples of these elements include:
- Library filled with souvenirs from travels
- Dining room in theatrical black, enhanced with gold accents and a regal crystal chandelier
- Grand staircase (perfect for Prom pictures!)
- Wooden banister flowing like the root of a vine (you’re in France, you may as well enjoy this country’s most prized contribution to humanity – wine!)
