Travel Spotting: Hyatt Regency Curacao’s Atabei Spa

Written by Tanner

Renew, refresh, and relax at the Hyatt Regency Curacao’s Atabei Spa!

Sometimes I feel like Americans just don’t know how to relax. Just look around, everyone takes their coffee to go, we’re constantly glued to our phones checking emails, we do NOT take the entire month of August off (unlike the Italians), we are the land of the drive-thru…I mean seriously, don’t we even have two seconds to eat a meal sitting down?! I am of the mindset that one needs to relax every once in a while and get in tune with one’s true foundation, in order to live a balanced life. Apparently, there is a luxurious spa that shares in this philosophy: the Hyatt Regency Curacao’s Atabei spa. This spa was inspired by the ancient culture and rituals of the Arawak people, which focuses on the heat of the sun, the rhythm of the water, the goodness of the earth, and the pull of the moon. Designed to reflect the natural beauty of the surrounding area, with stunning aquatic blues and woody neutrals, everything from the calming atmosphere to the herbal water foot cleanse has been thoughtfully combined to deliver the most luxurious of spa experiences.
