Travel Spotting: Longsheng Rice Terraces

If you’re considering a trip to China anytime soon, you’ll want to check out the Longsheng Rice Terraces. The terraces are about a 2 hour drive from Guilin, Guangxi, China and coil around the mountain to look like dragon scales. They were mostly built during the Ming Dynasty (about 500 years ago), but still hold enormous cultural value. The green shoots are said to be most beautiful in June, but are certainly a worthy sight all summer long.
