Travel Spotting: The Magic Mountain Hotel in Chile

Written by Gary

Every time I go to an amusement or theme park I inevitably end up thinking about how awesome it would be to live in a house that was designed to look like Greek ruins, or a fantasy castle, but was actually a functional living space. Basically my dream is to live on a movie set. While this dream may be impractical and would probably get old fairly quickly it still seems like an awesome way to spend a few nights.

The Magic Mountain Hotel in Chile is a fantasy world nestled in the heart of the Huilo Huilo Natural Preserve. The Hotel itself is designed to look like a volcano with stone spiral staircases, wooden walls and awesome features such as a waterfall that runs down the sides and hot tubs made out of tree trunks.

If you are like me, and always dreamed of being a princess lost in the middle of the woods (with a studly prince and a hot tub), then a fantastical experience at The Magic Mountain Hotel is probably something that should go on your bucket list.
