When I was younger, I was admittedly a huge fan of Barbie dolls. It got so bad that my mom started getting me them for Christmas so she didn’t have to see my big brown eyes well up with tears when I received another puzzle or G.I. Joe while my sister got to play with the visor and apron of “Minimum Wage Barbie.”
It’s true I liked brushing their hair, and its true that I liked humping them, but one thing I could never abide is the color scheme associated with Barbie.
Ruth Handler, the original creator of Barbie has no such issues. Her home in California is plastered in pastel hues and design schemes so garishly feminine they could make Christian Siriano play football. If you ever find yourself in the area, it is at least worth a drive by to remind yourself of your fondest childhood memories.
Or to masturbate.
