Tria Age Defying Laser: I finished and I love it

Written by Bryce

When I first started using the Tria Age Defying Laser, I was a little nervous that 12 weeks might be the biggest beauty commitment I’ve ever made (other than never sleeping with makeup on). But, the 12 weeks flew by and the device was so easy to use that it actually didn’t feel like any commitment at all.

What surprised me most was how quickly I started to notice a real difference in my skin– I was only about 2 or 3 weeks in when I started getting more compliments and feeling like I could go lighter on my makeup.

By the last few weeks (the highest setting), my skin was already glowing and obviously producing more collagen — I just looked fresher in the morning even though I was still totally sleep deprived every single day (can we hashtag that #momlife?), you can check out some of my before/after photos from level 2 here. The highest setting definitely had the most intense zapping, but it still wasn’t painful by any stretch, and left me with a satisfying rosy glow after. The calming serum that Tria makes took away the minor irritation almost instantly, and since I was using the machine late at night anyway, the redness was totally gone by morning.

Here’s a video of me using the Tria Age Defying Laser:

Here are some off-label tips that I discovered along the way:

1. Hold the machine at a slight angle, for whatever reason, it just suits the contours of the face better.

2. Use the Tria serum in the morning, too. It’s great as a light moisturizer and layers REALLY well under makeup.

3. Take a photo of yourself on the first day of treatment, and then in the same exact light on the last day of treatment. That’s the best way to see a difference.

Feel free to tweet questions or your own before/after pics at me at @BryceGruber and @TriaBeauty. There’s something so satisfying about sharing laser photos, #amiright?

This post was sponsored, but these are my real feelings and opinions, and my real results.
