Ingredients:
for the peanut butter filling:
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
4 tbsp unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
For the chocolate cupcakes:
1-2/3 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sour cream
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 tbsp unsalted butter, at room temperature
1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 large eggs
for the peanut butter frosting:
24 tbsp (3 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 tbsp vanilla extract
5 cups confectioners’ sugar
3 tbsp milk
18 miniature Reese’s peanut butter cups for topping
