GIVEAWAY

WIN IT: Set of 3 Scandalous Masks from Metropolis Soap Co.

A Shocking Tales of Soapy Scandals

Metropolis Soap Co. won me over their adorable retro packaging & quirky campaign style, but their mask system has really thrown my blemish prone skin into a smooth state of bliss.  Great for spot treatments and quick scrubs when there aren’t enough minutes in the day, these powders are formulated with vegan ingredients to give your skin exactly what it needs.   Each powder mask even comes with a wee card of liquid recommendations best suited for your normal to dry or combo to oily skintype to get the most out of your mask time. For example,  my favorite Black Soap with Charcoal and Pomegranate mask for oily spots suggests witch hazel, castor oil, water or aloe vera. and milk, honey, yogurt, glycerin or pureed fruit for dry skin.  I’m telling you… the witch hazel does wonders in a spot treatment, but you can mix the mask to make it your own.

ENTER TO WIN: a set of 3 Metropolis Soap Co. Masks from their 3 NEW Collections.  [A $60 value] Includes Nectar Of the Gods for dry skin with green tea & agave; Black Soap Horrors for oily skin with charcoal & pomegranate and Call me “Coco” for any skintype, with cocoa to nourish & strawberry for vitamins & antioxidants.

FOR OFFICIAL ENTRY [Contest Ends October 8, 2010]

Comment telling us which mask best describes how you would describe YOUR typical Friday night. Nectar of the Gods with a glass of wine and Lifetime on the couch? Black Soap Horrors in a downtown club? Telling a hot table waiter to Call you “Coco” while your Louboutins hit the floor of the swankiest club? It’s your world, ladies… we just write about it.

10 winners will be chosen.  And remember… Extra credit for Twitter and Facebook action.

  • Nectar of the Gods. A shot of Amoretto over ice, Pride and Prejudice in the DVD player and my pug puppy and kitten by my side.

  • I have to say my typical Friday night could best be described as Black Soap Horrors as I sit and TRY to unwind from the weekly grind!

These look so great! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!!! 🙂

  • This stuff looks great. Typical Friday night for me is making a great dinner and unwinding to a Netflix movie with a glass of wine.

  • Definitely Nectar of the Gods as I sit here on a Friday night with my pear vodka and Sprite Zero, my puppy sleeping to my left and my husband chewing my ear off. In an hour or so we’ll hit a bar/restaurant get some nosh and proceed to drink the nectar of the Gods until we stumble home. I <3 NYC

  • I heart Metropolis soap and would love to try the masks! Friday nights are usually spent first at happy hour with coworkers and husband, then a bite to eat, and then home to begin the true wind down to the weekend.

  • My Friday nights are unpredictable, much like the rest of the week. Nectar of the Gods implies quality, and regardless of where I am or what I’m doing, its usually at a place that delivers the best. And that includes my home.

  • My friday nights include Ben and Jerry’s ice cream aka Nectar of the Gods and watching all the DVRed tv shows I missed that week.

  • Nectar of the Gods for sure is what I prefer my Friday nights to be like! Since I’m getting olddddd I just want to spend a quiet night at home with my boyfriend and a great bottle of wine! We just got new wine aerators too 🙂

  • Nectar Of the Gods: a nice drink, homemade meal & whatever netflix has sent me all while in my comfy clothes.

  • Call you “Coco on a night out on the town with my crazy friends and the wildest club , sipping on “long island ice teas”, and checking out the hot guys.

  • Black Soap Horrors before I hit my favorite mill-building-basement bar in Manchester for a drink or 5, and then hang out until the early morning watching cheesy horror movies from decades past.

  • Call me “Coco” because my friends are always calling me up to see what is happening around the town for the night!

Also did some facebook action 🙂 Shannon S.
