A Shanghai shopping mall is under fire for providing ladies-only parking spaces.
I love a good controversy about sexism, so here goes. A shopping mall in Shanghai has recently created super-sized women-only parking spaces, complete with a new pink paint job and ‘female’ shape image. The idea was to make parking safer and more convenient, but The Internet thinks it’s totally sexist.
The Wandu Center shopping mall isn’t the first mall in the world to do this, but the question becomes, do these large parking spots suggest that women are worse drivers than men?

The mall has stated that men aren’t allowed to use the spots, but strict action won’t be taken against them, if they do.
It boggles my mind how we can move forward and be so progressive in some ways, but be stuck in the dark ages in so many others.
