FOOD AND TRAVEL

Yeah, I definitely smell a pork product of some type.

Whenever I eat a square of creamy, delicious, mouth-watering, sexual, thick chocolate, I always think, “I wonder what this would taste like if there were real bacon bits embedded in the actual chocolate itself.” Finally, I wonder no more. Vosges, maker of self proclaimed “Haute Chocolate,” has answered my prayers and delivered up its newest concoction: Mo’s Bacon Bar.

The chocolate bar is 41% cacao and its list of ingredients reads something like a dream: applewood smoked bacon, Alder wood smoked salt and deep milk chocolate. Well slap me silly and call me sold.

If a salty meat-chocolate combo just doesn’t seem like your dish, Vosges has other tantalizing combinations as well. For instance, you can try their Organic Enchanted Mushroom Candy Bar (of the non-psychadelic variety), their Red Fire Exotic Candy Bar (with real chilis), their Black Pearl Exotic Candy Bar (with real ginger and wasabi), or indulge in an Organic Exotic Candy Bar Library. Visit Vosgeschocolate.com as soon as you can, your next craving will thank you.
