I love a good eggnog, but sometimes I wonder why it’s customary to chase rich, creamy, heavy holiday foods with a drink made with heavy cream and eggs. The Houndstooth cocktail made with ever-refreshing BULLDOG Gin is basically the antithesis of eggnog, which is most likely the kind of cocktail you’ll want once you’re settled into a holiday food coma.
The Houndstooth
1 ½ oz. (45 ml) BULLDOG Gin
¾ oz. ( 20 ml) Endive Syrup
½ oz. (15 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
Dash of Celery Bitters
8 Grape Tomatoes
4 Basil Leaves
Endive Spear (garnish)
Splash of Club Soda
