YUM ALERT: Chocolate Chip Waffle Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies that look like WAFFLES!

A cool way to present an old-faithful with a fun edge.  This recipe holds its own, literally – great for travel, so your cookies don’t end up all broken & crumbed & sh*t. Hate when that happens.

Waffled chocolate chip cookies

Makes about 20 cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted [117 grams]
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons firmly packed light brown sugar [125 grams]
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup unbleached all-purpose flour [95 grams]
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats [65 grams]
  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips [130 grams]
