Ingredients:
1 large egg
3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil (1/2 cup unsalted melted butter may be substituted)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
pinch salt, optional and to taste
about 3/4 cup chocolate chunks or chips
