She basically summed up these brownies in a metaphorical statement in Harpers Bazaar: “You know, I use organic products, but I get lasers. Ingredients:
1 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
1 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup brown rice syrup (or light agave nectar)
1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
1/2 cup soymilk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons oil
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, divided
