Yum Alert: Homemade Italian Sodas

Because Italians usually do food well.

I’ll tell you the truth… I’ve never had an Italian Soda in my life, and it kind of looks amazing – so I’m about to try this recipe out…  Tell me what you think!

Homemade Italian Sodas

Ingredients:

Homemade Blueberry or Strawberry syrup
Club Soda
Cream (Half & Half)

    1. Fill a glass with ice.
    2. Pour 1/4 parts of syrup  over the ice
    3. Ass in the club soda
    4. Pour in a small amount of the cream
    5. Stir

    Recipe for Homemade Sweet Syrup

    1 cup sugar
    1 cup water
    1 1/2 cup blueberries or 2 cups strawberries

      1. Boil the sugar & water until sugar is dissolved
      2. Add in the blueberries & boil for at least 10 minutes
      3. Summer for 10 more mins, berries should be mushy
      4. Strain the mixture over a bowl & keep the juice,
      5. Discard the berries
      6. Let the mixture cool before using (will stay fresh for a few days, covered, in the fridge
