The Zundert Flower Parade is the world’s largest flower parade made by volunteers.
I kind of have a thing for flowers. My mom was big into gardening when I was growing up, so every time I go on vacation I snap photos of the exotic flowers I see and send them to her. I can tell your panties just dropped.
I am not one for parades, but the Bloemencorso Zundert Flower Parade in The Netherlands is one I would travel for. Originally started in 1936, the parade is held every first Sunday in September in the town of Zundert, the floats in the parade are totally covered in colorful dahlia flowers made by volunteers.

The 2015 parade focused on Van Gogh, from his appearance to his post-impressionist paintings. As you can see from the photos, this is one parade that is worth the price of admission whether you love flowers or think they are just colorful allergy-inducing weeds.
