Everyone always says they want their wedding to be the perfect day. They say it is the most important day of their lives (untrue, but whatevs). It boggles my mind how much time and effort people put into planning their weddings in such an impersonal way. Most people hire wedding planners to handle most of the details, but I always think that the most memorable weddings have special nuanced touches that make the union totally personal. This idea of writing special messages hidden somewhere in your wedding has surfaced recently, and I think its a great way to say “I am willing to spend the rest of my life only fucking you,” while also creating a personalized keepsake from the happy day.
