Beauty Spotting: Hair & Makeup Straight from the Runway

Written by emilyc

The clothes aren’t the only show stoppers at New York Fashion Week; hair and makeup on the runway is also not to be missed. Here is a rundown of a few looks that walked the runway this past week:

At BCBG, effortlessly windblown hair and dark-rimmed eyes were the beauty looks du jour.

Richard Chai opted for sleek low ponytails right out of the 1960s coupled with a pale lip.

Nicole Miller went futuristic with dark eye shadow and “Avatar”-esque hair.

Charlotte Ronson’s models channeled classic springtime prettiness with soft, natural hair and glowing skin.

Alexander Wang’s models had an alien-inspied moment on the runway with flawless skin, pale brows, and exaggerated parts in their tightly slicked back hair.
