I need to do this badly. My bathroom looks like the makeup counter at Bloomingdales, without the counter and without any square footage. A little storage would serve me well, and it wouldn’t hurt to add a little glamour while I’m at it. Here is the perfect DIY makeup storage project if you find yourself in a similar predicament.
You will need:
1 clean tin can
Scrap book paper
Modge Podge
Hot glue gun
Decorative fillers (such as these little glass spheres pictured above)
Cover the inside and outside of the can with scrap book paper and Modge Podge. A simple dotted paper is pictured above, but you could get some interesting effects using a more detailed paper.
Then glue on the decorative filler beads with hot glue.
Simple as that! Now your makeup brushes have a blinged out home.
