Wait, what? Yes. Blood facials are a thing. Ok, so what it is, is when blood is spun in a centrifuge, which then separates it into red blood cells and plasma. (I already feel light-headed) Then you take the plasma part, which is rich in platelets and packed with anti-inflammatory properties, and inject it into your face. OMG.
But why? I mean, I guess the upside is that it’s all natural? It’s like a much safer filler and doesn’t hurt any more than your non-blood facial. Plus, much of the world loves vampires these days, so this is, like, perfect.
So should I get it? Yeah, if you’re in your late 30s and like injecting your own blood into your face. Experts say late 30s and up is best because that’s when the whole aging thing really picks up the pace.
And then there’s this photo:
I can’t.
